RDGA Welcomes New Board Members

As we welcome the new year, the Rochester District Golf Association also welcomes its newest Board Members.

Joining the RDGA Board of Directors for 2021 will be:

  • TAMMY BLYTH. Blyth, a native of Pittsford, NY grew up learning to play golf at Monroe Golf Club and has won several golf championships with recently winning the 2018 NYS Senior Women’s Championship and 2019 and 2020 WRDGA Championships along with 29 Monroe Golf Club Women’s Championships.
  • KRISTEN BROMLEY. Kristen grew up playing golf at Locust Hill Country Club and attended Pittsford Sutherland High School and helped Section V to three consecutive State titles from 2011-2013. After graduating from Sutherland in 2013, she then went on to attend Siena College and helped the Saints to a MAAC Championship title. Currently, Bromley serves as the Rochester Outreach Coordinator for The First Tee of Western New York.
  • DENNIS OLBRICH. Dennis is married (Kathy) with 2 daughters (Kristin and Katie). He graduated from Michigan State University in 1982, received his MBA from the University of Rochester in 1989 before going to work for Eastman Kodak. In 2013, Dennis became President of the traditional film and paper businesses at Kodak Alaris – from where he recently retired after 37-plus years. This is Olbrich’s second tenure on the RDGA Board, having served previously from 2011 to 2013.
  • CHUCK RYAN. Chuck is the fourth-generation owner of homes by RYAN, a local homebuilding and real estate company, celebrating 100 years in 2021. He has served on the RDGA Foundation Board since its inception and is also responsible for securing the location of the current RDGA offices, formerly those of the Rochester Homebuilders Association. Chuck is a past Board member of the CC of Rochester and Oak Hill CC.

With the addition of these new members, the RDGA Board now totals 13 – including returning officers President Mark Battle, Vice President Andy Conway, Treasurer David Uhazie and Secretary Jenna Hoecker. Other returning members also include Shawn Baker, Jim Cucinelli, Zach Fuller, Dr. Jim Mason and Sharon White.

Leaving the Board this year after many years of service are past Presidents Wilson Fitch and Fred Lapple.
