The FREE Golf Genius app is a powerful tool designed to simplify and enhance the golfing experience for players, tournament participants and organizers, and local golf clubs. Whether you’re managing an event, tracking your own scores, staying informed on tournament updates, or using it in your local club events, the Golf Genius app puts everything right at your fingertips.
Golf Genius is a critical tool for the RDGA in managing its tournaments and each participant in an RDGA tournament is required to have the app downloaded to their mobile device.
It’s Easy to Download and Use the Golf Genius App
Go to your phone’s app store and search for the “Golf Genius” app
Download the app to your device
Once downloaded, open the app and it will ask for your “GGID” (Golf Genius ID) – a 5-letter code found at the lower right of the scorecard you were issued prior to the event, or found on other tournament literature available from on course RDGA officials
Type in your GGID and you will immediately see the information for the event in which you are playing – as well as options to enter your hole-by-hole scores and view the event leaderboard
After downloading and opening the app and logging in with your GGID, the app should look like this on your mobile device:
