2024 World Handicap System™ Revisions Hub

On Wednesday, November 8, the USGA and The R&A officially announced revisions to the World Handicap System™, which will take effect beginning January, 2024. Although not the same scale as the sweeping changes that were introduced, along with the WHS, in 2020, there are several notable updates to the system, including how 9-hole scores and partial scores are posted to your Handicap Index®, as well as allowing short courses and par-3 courses to receive an official Course Rating™.
