2024 RDGA Player of the Year Point Schedules

The RDGA Tournament Committee met to finalize a revised points schedule and qualification standard for the RDGA’s Annual Player of the Year awards in their respective categories. As these are a RDGA award, eligibility for Player of the Year will require an individual to participate in a minimum of 5 events on the published Points schedule with an additional requirement that 3 of those events must be RDGA events. One of those 3 events must be an individual championship event ( i.e. Match Play, District Championship, Mid Am Championship, Senior Championship). The same will apply to the annual awards in the Women’s and Junior ranks with the only difference being that they must play in one individual championship event on the points schedule, not necessarily a RDGA individual championship.

RDGA Two Player Tournaments:

Point Breakdowns: 50 40 30 20 10 5 for all events. The points awarded are for each player, not team. Gross scores only, no net.

In addition, the committee established a yearly cap in the amount a player can earn participating in Best Ball events. That annual total number of points a player can earn in RDGA Best Ball events will be capped at 200 points for each player.
