RDGA Website Privacy Policy

RDGA.ORG PRIVACY POLICY

RDGA.org adheres to a strict policy for ensuring the privacy of your personally identifiable information. This privacy policy explains how RDGA.org will meet its commitment to providing you with a trustworthy environment on the Internet. We hope that this information will provide you with confidence that your personal information will not be abused and hopefully will enhance your experience with RDGA.org.

COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

We will not collect personally identifiable information from you other than what is required for registration or other participation purposes and is supplied voluntarily. In order to participate in some activities, participants may be asked to provide some personally identifiable information (see below). We will only collect enough information from our participants as is required for registration in tournaments or participation in other activities offered on RDGA.org. Except as stated in the following sections, no personally identifiable information is retained in any database maintained by RDGA.org. We will always disclose if requested the extent of its use at the time you are asked to provide personal information. If you do not want this information to be collected or used by us for these purposes, you can simply elect not to participate in that activity. Under certain circumstances, opting out may prevent your participation in those activities for which personal information is needed.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT AND CONSENT

We only collect personal information from children as it pertains to participating in our online activities or programs for which the child has registered (specifically RDGA Junior, YOC, etc.) Only the minimal personal information required will be collected from children under the age of 13, will only be updated or maintained in password-protected sections of our Web site, and parents may request at any time that this information be removed from online access. It is for these reasons that parental involvement in a child’s activities on RDGA.org is strongly encouraged.

THIRD PARTIES

RDGA.org uses personal information collected about its Web site users only in defined and responsible ways. We do not share or sell user information with third parties except when we have informed users about such information disclosures, when we have prior consent or when required by law.

COOKIES

RDGA.org utilizes persistent and per-session cookies. Persistent cookies are cookies that exist even after a client browser is closed. For example, if a visitor checks “Remember My Login” next to his or her username and password, the Web site is likely writing a persistent cookie to the hard drive. When the visitor returns, the Web site reads the cookie file for cookies associated with the site and returns information based on the associated cookie values. Per-session cookies are non-persistent, however, meaning they are written to the visitor’s browser memory instead of the hard drive. In short, per-session cookies only exist for the duration of the browser session, whereas persistent cookies remain available for future browser sessions.

You can control cookies on your computer through your Internet browser (such as Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer) or by using other software to control and/or prevent the use of such cookies. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can set your browser to alert you when cookies are in use. You may choose to disable or refuse cookies. You can also direct your browser to erase any cookie that has been placed on your computer.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using this site, you signify your agreement to the terms and conditions of this Online Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, we do not grant you permission to use the site. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for any modifications and changes. Your continued use of RDGA.org following the posting of any changes to these terms indicates your acceptance of and consent to those changes.
