Dennis is married (Kathy) with 2 daughters (Kristin and Katie).  He graduated from Michigan State University in 1982, received his MBA from the University of Rochester in 1989 before going to work for Eastman Kodak. In 2013, Dennis became President of the traditional film and paper businesses at Kodak Alaris – from where he recently retired after 37-plus years with Kodak.

Dennis was a long-time member of the Durand Eastman Golf Club, a four-year member of the DEGC Board of Directors and has served as an RDGA representative for Durand Eastman Golf Club. He later joined The Brookwoods (Ontario) Country Club for 6 years before becoming a member at Irondequoit Country Club in 2013, where he now serves on the Board of Governors.

Dennis currently plays to a 12.5 Handicap Index®.

Originally invited to act as an adjunct member of the RDGA Board of Directors in 2010 and elected as a full-time member of the BOD in October of 2011, Dennis began his second tenure as an RDGA Board Member in the Fall of 2020 – and in 2021 was elected by the RDGA Executive Committee to serve as its Vice President in 2022.
