RDGA Mid-Am at Deerfield – a Premier Championship for Golfers 25 and Over

The RDGA Mid-Amateur trophies.

Male golfers over the age of 25: don’t miss your chance to play in one of the premier championships on the Rochester District Golf Association schedule – the 2015 RDGA Mid-Amateur Championship, coming up on August 14 and 15 and hosted by the beautifully renovated Deerfield Golf & Country Club in Brockport!

Over the past year and a half, the new ownership group at Deerfield has spared no expense or effort in renovating both the golf course and clubhouse and are welcoming local golfers to enjoy the transformation for themselves by competing in the RDGA Mid-Am Championship!

From Deerfield’s championship North-South golf course, to the complete RDGA tournament setup, lunches, on-course refreshments and a post-tournament hors d’ouevres reception, including prizes and awards, this Championship promises to give tournament participants an incredible experience.

The format of the competition will consist of 36 holes of stroke play (two 18-hole rounds) on Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15. The contestant with the lowest gross score for 36 holes will be crowned as the 2015 RDGA Mid-Amateur Champion. An added incentive for the champion will be an exemption into next year’s RDGA District Championship!

Registration for this event closes on August 11. The registration fee includes the use of a new electric golf cart with GPS course yardage screens, the practice range, lunch each day, a tee gift, prizes – and the hors d’ouvres reception following play on Saturday, which is open to spouses and guests.
