RDGA - US Kids Tournament Program
U.S. Kids Golf Local Tours, founded in 2002, allows for players at all levels to enjoy tournament participation, while learning, competing, and spending time with new friends. There are now more than 115 U.S. Kids Golf Local Tours operating around the world.
Players ages 5 to 18 from around the world are eligible to compete in Local Tours, one-day events that are close to home and are designed to integrate young players into competitive
golf.
U.S. Kids Golf Local Tours are created to allow boys and girls, ages 5 to 18, to advance their skills in the game in age-appropriate competition without taking the time and incur the costs of traveling long distances. A Local Tour consists of six to eight one-day tournaments, including a season-ending one-day Local Tour Championship. Players earn awards and points for each tournament.
Similar to the PGA Tour, players at our events are encouraged to have caddies to help them play their best. Allowing caddies is a special component of our tournaments and is part of our commitment to encouraging family interaction that builds lasting memories.
Other family members are very welcome to come out and walk or ride on a cart to observe and cheer on their player!
