RDGA WOMEN-ONLY TOURNAMENTS:
Irondequoit Country Club - Monday, September 11
The fourth annual RDGA Women’s Open is set to return in 2017, open to women golfers of all levels. This year, Irondequoit Country Club - an original Donald Ross-designed course which just celebrated it's 100th anniversary in 2016 - will serve as host for our annual celebration of Women’s Golf in Rochester!
Your entry fee includes a unique tee gift and other goodies as well as golf, range, cart, box lunch, and full buffet dinner. Guests are welcome at dinner. In addition to golf we’ll have plenty of time to mix and mingle – catch up with your old golf friends and meet some new ones. Female LPGA and teaching pros will be invited as our special guests.
The tournament will be flighted so you will play with women of similar ability, with winners from each flight. Prizes will be in the form of gift certificatesand will be awarded to approximately one third of the field.

Reservoir Creek Contry Club - Sunday, July 30
Hosted by the beautiful Reservoir Creek Country Club in Naples, the RDGA Women's Handicapped Team Scramble Tournament returns for a second year in 2017 as the only 4-person scramble on the RDGA schedule.
Come out and test your golf game in this fun competition! Teams will consist of 4 women golfers. That’s it - you chose who to play with! Teams may come from the same club or from different clubs, and all levels of play are welcome – part of your strategy is putting together a team with the winning combination of skills and handicaps. You must use each player’s drive three times.
And this year - as a thank you to all the women who support the RDGA - we will be holding a special drawing after the Team Scramble, which will award four lucky golfers with entry into the RDGA Women's Open on September 11!
Your entry fee includes golf, cart, range, tee gift, prizes and hors d’ouerves after the round during the scoring and awards.

The premier championship for women on the RDGA schedule is the RDGA Women's Championship Danielle E. Downey Memorial.
The RDGA Women's Championship began in 2010 as an extension of the Distict's Women's Golf Initiative - becoming an integral part of the RDGA's efforts to provide the area's best women golfers an opportunity to compete against other top players on some of the most storied venues in the Rochester area.
Played as a two-day, 36-hole, stroke play competition, the RDGA Women's Championship is held each year concurrently with the RDGA Men's District Championship, with competitors teeing off in separate flights during the final two rounds of the Men's District Championship. The field is open to any women RDGA members with a USGA handicap index of 15.0 and under.
The RDGA Senior Women's Championship began in 2016 as an extension of the RDGA Women's Championship - offering another opportunity for some of the area's best women golfers to compete against other top players on some of the most storied venues in the Rochester area.
Played as a two-day, 36-hole, stroke play competition, the RDGA Senior Women's Championship is held each year concurrently with the RDGA Men's District Championship, with competitors teeing off in separate flights during the final two rounds of the Men's District Championship. The field is open to any women RDGA members, age 50 and over, with a USGA handicap index of 15.0 and under.
