The DEWGA is the oldest women’s golf league in all of Rochester. Still going strong after an unprecedented 86 years, league play takes place every Thursday morning during the months of May through September.
The Genesee Valley Women’s Golf Association (GVWGA) was founded for the purpose of the improvement and enjoyment of the game of golf, the promotion of good sportsmanship, good fellowship, and friendly competition among Women Golfers.

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association – Rochester, NY Chapter offers opportunities for women to learn the game of golf, play the game of golf, and connect with other Rochester women golfers professionally and socially. Our chapter is active year round, offering golf events, outings, leagues, clinics, social events, 9-hole after work leagues, competitive events and more.
No women’s golf specific program, but women friendly.
EWGA women’s league Monday nights, special rates every day after 3:00pm, couples league on 10 different Friday Nights, many lesson programs.

From RDGA Play Days to our Two Person team events, the popular RDGA Women’s Open in September and the Women’s Four Person Team Scramble in June – there are many options for women to participate in the RDGA tournament experience – all you need is an active USGA Handicap Index issued by an RDGA Member Club!
The RDGA Women Friendly Course Evaluation is a voluntary program that evaluates local courses based on criteria that women feel are important. The rating criteria have been culled from numerous published surveys of female golfers, including a survey conducted locally by the Rochester Chapter of LPGA Women Who Play (Formerly the Executive Women’s Golf Association.)

WEGA is a regional golf association founded in 1906 to sponsor and support women’s golf. We host an Amateur Championship and a Senior Amateur Championship each year – each are 54-hole stroke play tournaments. Our territory includes Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Women’s Finger Lakes Golf Association
The Women’s Finger Lakes Golf Association is comprised of sixteen Finger Lakes region clubs. It holds one 2-day tournament each summer at a member club on a rotating basis. Participants must be a member at one of the sixteen clubs.

Candidates for admission must be golfing members of a WGAWNY club. The following order is used for membership admission: 1) Handicap index of 9.4 or below is automatically admitted; 2) Lowest handicap; 3) Member of a new club in WGAWNY; 4) Clubs with fewer than three members; 5) Longest time on the waiting list.
Women’s Lake Country Golf Association
The Women’s Lake Country Golf Association is comprised of twelve clubs in the Finger Lakes area. Six tournaments are scheduled each season at member clubs on a rotating basis. Participants must be a member at one of the twelve clubs.

The purpose of the WRDGA is to represent, promote and serve the best interests of amateur golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions. Our objectives are to further the advancement of golf, to recognize and develop skilled amateur female golfers and to promote good sportsmanship and friendly competition.
