2008 Scholarship Program:

Since 1984, the Rochester District Golf Association has awarded scholarships annually to assist students in financing their college/university education.

The number of scholarships and the amount has increased. The RDGA awards approximately 10-12 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each year.

Who is Eligible?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicant or parent must be a member of an RDGA member club OR
• Employee of an RDGA member club OR
• Son/Daughter of an RDGA member club employee.
• Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university.

Criteria:
Applicants are interviewed and selected on the following criteria:

• Academic Record
• Community Activities
• High School/College Activities
• Leadership
• Communication Skills
• Current Job Activities
• Financial Need
• Golf Involvement
• Golf Club Activities

Application Process:

• Applications can be obtained at your club, through the RDGA Office, or on our website (RDGA.org) - A link to the form is available below
• Complete the application
• Return application to the RDGA Office by June 15, 2008
• Interviews will take place in late June and July
