Match-Play Championship at Stafford CC This Week
Rochester, New York
May 15, 2007 – The Rochester
District Golf Association is pleased to announce the 32 Field Match Play
Championship will take place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the beautiful
Stafford Country Club in Stafford, New York, designed by noted golf architect
Walter J. Travis, in 1920. Last year’s champion, John Kircher from Monroe Golf
Club, will be up against a strong list of competitors to include Jim Scorse of
Stafford, Mike Mercier of Monroe Golf Club and Ken Siebold of the newly formed
Brookwoods Country Club, the other top point earners.
Match play results will be
posted on our website at rdga.org, under tournament registration.
