RDGA Williamson Cup Team finishes 7th
The 2010 Williamson Cup team representing RDGA: Doug Uhazie (Midvale), Troy Allen (Hickory Ridge), Alex Bourdelais (Mendon) and Chris Blyth (Monroe), finished in 7th place after the two-day 36 hole event. They travelled to Windsor, Ontario to Essex Country Club on August 8th through August 11th.
The very prestigious event features four man teams from 11 state and regional golf associations from Delaware, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, Ontario, Quebec and Washington, D.C.
Uhazie finished in 11th place with rounds of 70-73=143. Bourdelais finished 75-74=149, Blyth with 73-79=152, and Allen with 77-81=158. The players represented us all very well and The RDGA
was very proud of their performance.
The Washington Golf Association won the event with some fantastic scores as three of their players finished in the top four of the event.
Thank you again to host club Essex Country Club and the people of Ontario for their hospitality, and a memorable Williamson Cup. The RDGA also wishes to thank Mike Sorce, RDGA Junior Chairman, for all of his efforts making our program one of the best in the country.
