Syracuse Claims Junior and Sub-Junior Titles. Great showing from all teams!

After a storm delay at Caledonia Country Club on Sunday, August 21, the 2011 Interdistrict Championship went off without a hitch. This tournament brings the top six junior and top six sub-junior golfers from Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse together to compete in a team tournament where the top five scores are taken.

Syracuse's Junior team took the title shooting a combined 378. Their low score was shot by Mr. Derek Bard with an impressive 72.

The Sub-Junior title was also claimed by Syracuse, with their team shooting a combined score of 396. The Sub-Junior's low scorer was Alec Bard, with a 75.

Rochester performed well, claiming 2nd in both categories. The scores for the juniors are:

- Tom Kolb - 82
- Nick Romeo - 85
- Doug Uhazie - 73
- George Vanderzwaag - 81

The Sub-Junior's scores were:

- Christian Chapman - 92
- Gunnar Doyle - 80
- Colin Dubnik - 82
- Anthony Monteleone - 76
- Drew Morabito - 81
- Kevin Siegal - 83
