Volunteering at the RDGA

Since our beginning, the RDGA has relied on local volunteers to help us fill our support functions, especially during our tournaments and for Course Rating™. Being a RDGA volunteer provides golf lovers with a great opportunity to make an impact on the local golf community while also gaining access to watch some of the area’s greatest golfers compete head-to-head against each other.

The Rochester District Golf Association needs your assistance in continuing its long-standing tradition of providing top-quality service to our Members and our Member Clubs. Here are different ways you can become involved:

The RDGA is in need of tournament official volunteers (checkpoint scorers, scorers, starters and rules).

Volunteers receive an RDGA-logoed golf shirt, as well as an RDGA District Championship hat.

Those interested in volunteering for any of the tournament official opportunities, or if you have any questions, please contact the RDGA Office.

Those interested in volunteering for a course rating opportunity may contact the RDGA Office.
