Scheduled for Monday, September 11, the 2017 RDGA Women’s Open is an event for all women who have an active USGA-GHIN Handicap Index. The format will consist of 18 holes of stroke play – with multiple flights, so that players will be competing against other players of similar abilities. The 2017 Women’s Open will be contested from Irondequoit CC’s Yellow Tees at 5,436 yards and a par of 74.

There will be an overall Low Net Score winner and Overall Gross Score winner. Each will receive a trophy to display at their home clubs for the next year and the top 10 gross score finishers – regardless of flight – will be awarded points towards the RDGA Women’s Player of the Year award, to be announced at the end of the season. Flight winners’ prizes will be awarded to approximately one third of the field.

As host of this year’s RDGA Women’s Open, Irondequoit Country Club offers an 18-hole private championship golf course – one of six Donald Ross-designed golf courses in the Rochester area.

An entry fee of $100 for the 2017 RDGA Women’s Open includes:

  • A unique tee gift
  • 18 holes of golf at Irondequoit Country Club, with use of the practice range and cart
  • A box lunch provided before the 12:30 p.m. shotgun start
  • A full, post-tournament dinner – contestants are welcome to bring a guest!
